I am a Brazil-born multiple-citizen gearhead with a passion for cars, languages, traveling and exploring cultures.
I have lived in the US, Brazil, Ecuador, and been to about ten other countries and counting. Today, I live in London, UK, where I work as an Analyst and SME for automotive data, which include producing automotive specification definitions in English for a global audience.
I have over five years' experience as a Languages Instructor and over ten years' experience in translations and transcriptions.
During this period I have delivered accurate interpreted versions and translations to companies in marketing, communications, advertising, and publishing, helping from websites to magazines happen. I have also taught English to people whose first languages were Portuguese and Spanish and taught Brazilian Portuguese to native speakers of English, Spanish, Dutch, German, Russian and Japanese.
I translate from and to any combination of English US, English UK, Spanish and Portuguese. These are the languages I am native or fluent in, and which I use daily at my job.
Living in these countries has allowed me to pick up the real tone used in each language, enabling me to deliver a text that reads and sounds natural rather than translated.
I also have extensive experience in the automotive industry and am equipped to deliver technical translations for car magazines, technical manuals, user guides, as well as owner's manuals.
I also provide proofreading.
I am a customer-focused provider and take pride in delivering high-quality results.
